This photo resembles to me the photo taken by Joe Roesenthal of the second flag raising at Iwo Jima.

But in this case I take the concept of it symbolising the struggle for equality by women.

From the left Jenny has a nursing degree, Myrna is a professional accountant, Edna is a botanist (PhD) and Cristy is a mathematician (PhD).
