- All but two of the photos were taken by myself.
- The 1905 photo and the bullocks shifting the main hall were copies made
with my camera from originals that a friend possessed.
- The final drawing was done in association with Anne Hyde. A photographic
montage made up - necessary because parts of the building was obscured
by trees - perspective points drawn in, then a drawing made by Anne on a
tracing overlay. Finally a lithographic contact negative was made and the result printed
on to photographic paper.
- The small blue navigation icons on each page were derived from one
obtained from a freeware version of the software package "Trellian Button Factory".
- There is no intention on my part to discredit any person pictured. The group
pictured as "The Destroyers" are much the same as those pictured as "The Creators"
(it depended who was on the job on those two particular days) - and thanks to the
demolition crew’s careful demolition of the building the central hall was
able to be reconstructed.
- To the best of my knowledge the facts stated are correct, but I apologize if
I have inadvertently misstated anything. Once I am made aware of any discrepancy
I will take action to correct it.

- Finally I acknowledge and give thanks for the assistance that the headmaster
gave me to gather the photos depicted. It is with regret I note that he died
about two years later.
