'Harriet Stein'

Earlier this year Rita Gudge contacted me, and said that she had a portrait of Harriet Stein, painted as a gift by Frank on Harriet's marriage to her grandfather Arthur Alexander Gudge.

I was given permission to display the beautiful portrait illustrated above, in Frank's virtual gallery.

Elizabeth Gudge, (nee Meeson) married to John Francis Hyde (Frank's father) was Rita's husband's great grandmother.

As a further surprise Rita sent me a copy of the 1878 proclamation below which is for the capture of Pocket the murderer of Frank's brother Leonard.
