NOTE:
It appears that ferries between Calatagan and Tilik ceased sometime in March 2017. Service for most ferries is now between Nasugbu and Tilik.

One should arrive there before 10 am. to catch it. Usually it is not necessary to book in advance

Ferry Tickets can be bought at desks on top of the steps in front of the passenger terminal building. (Illustrated below right)

When I went to Calatagan in January 2010, the actual departure was after midday, because the captain was waiting for the tide to rise to give sufficient clearance.

I understand that dredging operations are underway to allow RORO (Roll on roll off) ferries to embark from there, but there are some problems with sand being swept back in again.

The trip between Calatagan and the Port of Lubang at Tilik takes approximately two hours.

Trips dependant on weather and demand.
